The first beach on the list of best places is Canggu. Not only is Canggu the best place to surf but also among the best beaches in Bali. Canggu is located only 10 km away from the downtown Denpasar. It’s easily accessible that you can rent motorbike to get there.

This place has 3 breaks which are simply stunning. You can find these different breaks in three different places, the Berawa Beach, Echo Beach and Batu Bolong beach. It offers the advanced barrels for the experts and also rolling waves for beginners.

This beach is popular for the long tube rides and sharp reef bottoms. With nickname as Balinese Pipeline, no beginners are recommended to surf here especially when big waves are coming.

This one of the favorite places to surf in Bali has the famous gnarly left hand wave with a range up to 12 feet. You will get so much fun surfing in this beach. Impossible is one among the Indonesia attractions for experienced surfers. This beach is known for its intimidating waves that range between 3 to 5 feet with considerably fast speed. If you are lucky enough, you can even ride the wave to Bingin. That means you ride a wave for almost one mile. This is certainly one reason that makes this beach becomes best Bali surf spots.

Uluwatu has been known for its unique tourist attractions of religious Hindu temples. But, do you know that this beach is also known for being one among the best places to surf? Well, it really is. Uluwatu has technical and advanced waves especially during monsoon season. In this season, the wave can get as high as 16 feet. Great thing about surfing in this beach is having the chance to look at gorgeous Hindu shrine while riding the waves.

The most favorite spot is the reef. But, it’s not that easy to access because you need to paddle through famous cave in Uluwatu that has strong current. Once you get here, you get five different swells available including the Peak, the Outside Corner, the Racetrack, The Bombie and the Temples.

Balangan, which is only walking distance from Dreamland beach has become of the best beaches in Indonesia and one among the most crowded. This beach has gorgeous white sand with the perfect left handers specifically designated for intermediate surfers.

Like most beaches in Bali, Balangan also has sharp coral reef. Therefore, prepare to use booties to avoid injury. Other than that, this beach has nothing harmful. Right after you ride the wave, you can lie back on the white sands and enjoy the peaceful Bali atmosphere.
